The top echelons of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) on Monday reviewed the comprehensive arrangements being made for the grand conduct of the annual Brahmotsavams of Lord Venkateswara, scheduled from September 24 to October 2.
TTD Executive Officer J. Shyamala Rao, along with Additional EO Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary, assessed the preparedness of each department during a meeting attended by District Collector Venkateswar, SP Harshavardhan Raju, TTD JEO Veerabrahmam, CV & SO Muralikrishna and senior APSRTC officials.
The meeting discussed in detail the special security and crowd management measures for Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s vastram presentation ceremony on September 24, as well as key events such as the Garuda Seva on September 28 and the Chakra Snanam on October 2.
Stressing the need for robust security in and around the main temple complex, galleries and high-traffic pilgrim zones, the meeting underscored the importance of coordinated efforts between the TTD and the police.
The officials also reviewed plans for ‘May I Help You’ counters, quick transportation facilities, and adequate parking lots.
Earlier in the day, Mr. Shyamala Rao inspected developmental works on the second ghat road leading to the hill shrine.
