The TUDA Towers, an iconic commercial-cum-residential building at Annamayya Circle in the heart of the temple city, will be completed by the end of June 2026, Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) Dr. Ponguru Narayana said in a review meeting in Tirupati on Monday (August 25, 2025).
During the meeting with the officials of municipal corporation and TUDA (Tirupati Urban Development Authority), the Minister discussed ways to increase the revenue sources within the TUDA area and the current status of various TUDA projects. He also sought details about the creation of infrastructure facilities, cleanliness, promotion of greenery, strengthening of drainage system, construction of CC roads and drains in the city.
Mr. Narayana said, “I have discussed with the Revenue Minister about the multiple registrations of Settipalli land parcels in the city outskirts. Very soon, we will resolve this controversial land issue that had been pending since few decades. Justice will be done to both the farmers and the plot buyers there.”
A.P. Greening and Beautification Corporation (APGBC) chairman M. Suguna, Deputy Mayor R.C. Munikrishna, TUDA chairman Diwakar Reddy, vice chairman Shubham Bansal, Tirupati Municipal Corporation Commissioner N. Maurya, TUDA secretary Srikanth Babu and other senior officials from various departments participated in the meeting.
