‘Tulu Parba’ to be celebrated in Bengaluru on July 20

Businessmen, industrialists, educationists, artistes, and professionals in various fields from the coastal districts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts will come together to celebrate “Tulu Parba”, for showcasing the vibrant culture of the Tulunadu, at Bunts’ Sangha in Vijayanagar, Bengaluru, on July 20.

Folk culture and food items of Tulu Nadu will be showcased during the day-long programme. A Tulu drama “Paramathma Panjurli” would be staged. Different competitions for the participants would be organised during the day.

The purpose of organising the ‘Tulu Parba’ is to introduce the traditional practices, traditional food, and culture of Tulu Nadu to the present generation, according to a press release issued by Sona Ganesh Nayak, Sona Events, Bengaluru. The breakfast, lunch and dinner would be served free of cost during the day.
