A TVK party office in Trichy was set on fire by unidentified miscreants late at night. CCTV footage reveals two men on a two-wheeler arriving at the location, torching the makeshift office, and fleeing the scene. The incident occurred in the Trichy East district, the constituency contested by the party in the ongoing elections. Since the office was empty at the time, no injuries were reported. The party has alleged foul play, calling the arson a politically motivated conspiracy to target them. This attack comes shortly after the Axis My India exit polls predicted a favourable electoral outcome for the TVK. Police are currently reviewing the CCTV footage and investigating the method used to start the fire, including the possible use of petrol. Authorities are also probing whether the accused have any links to rival political factions. The party is yet to file a formal police complaint regarding the incident.
