Two constables and a home guard suspended in Kurnool district

Kurnool Superintendent of Police (SP) Vikrant Patil on Sunday suspended two constables and a home guard for allegedly withholding information about a gang of robbers to the higher-up’s.

According to police, a case had been registered in the IV Town Police station against a gang who were taking photos of girls and boys spending time at secluded places and robbing them by threatening to send the photos to their family. During investigation, police found that two constables and a home guard were aware of the gang and their activities. The two had allegedly connived with them and taken money in return for their silence.

Mr. Vikrant Patil suspended constables J. Ram Prasad of Kurnool IV Town police station and Rajesh of Taluka police station and home guard Nabeesha of Kurnool traffic wing.
