Two new industrial parks approved by the Andhra Pradesh government are expected to generate around 8,000 jobs in the Kuppam Assembly constituency, giving a significant boost to the rural economy. State Commerce and Industries Secretary N. Yuvaraj announced the development on Monday after a review meeting with officials at the Kuppam Area Development Authority (KADA) office.

Mr. Yuvaraj said the government is committed to providing all necessary infrastructure for the new industries. Land has already been allotted for a dairy and cattle feed processing unit, and he noted that “Mother Dairy will soon establish a fruit pulp processing facility,” urging officials to expedite infrastructure works to meet the scheduled timelines.

Chittoor District Collector Sumit Kumar emphasised that the projects are central to the State government’s plan for poverty eradication and rural development in the Kuppam division. “The two parks are poised to strengthen Kuppam’s rural economy and accelerate sustainable livelihood programmes, benefiting thousands of families,” he said. Officials from the APIIC, Revenue, Panchayat Raj, and Industries departments were present at the meeting.
