Two killed, four injured in a road accident near Kodavaluru  

Two persons were killed, four seriously injured and three others sustained minor injuries in a road accident on the National Highway near Racharlapadu in Kodavaluru mandal of SPSR Nellore district on Friday.

According to the sources, all of them were from the same family and residents of Hyderabad who were travelling to Tirupati in their own vehicle. Driver of the vehicle lost control of their speeding car while trying to overtake another vehicle and crashed into a tree.

The deceased have been identified as 67-year-old Mastan Saheb and 10-year-old Ayesha. Mastan died on the spot and Ayesha breathed her last while being taken to the hospital. Highway Mobile Ambulance shifted the other injured persons to Nellore Government Hospital for treatment.

After receiving the information, the police inspected the scene, registered a case and the investigation is on.
