Two notorious gangsters, 8 others booked after clash during baptism in Kerala

The Maradu police in Ernakulam, Kerala, have registered a case against two rival gangs, allegedly led by two notorious gangsters, after they clashed at a church hall at Thykoodam here during a baptism function on Sunday (June 08, 2025).

The FIR arraigned Thammanam Faizal and Bhai Naseer as the first and second accused, and eight other identifiable persons. They have been booked under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita Section 194 (2) (fighting in public places).

It started with an argument before it descended into fighting, said police sources.
