Indiana Pacers’ star Tyrese Haliburton is making the most of his time while recovering from a torn Achilles. The 25-year-old NBA star recently revisited his Iowa State roots with his fiancée, Jade Jones.

Haliburton even came across his lady love during his time at Iowa State University back in 2018. The NBA star recently shared a retirement message with Jade Jones while going down memory lane during a game between the Iowa State Cyclones and the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Tyrese Haliburton and Jade Jones share one thing in common- Iowa State University. Back in 2018, when Tyrese Haliburton was polishing his hooping skills with the Cyclones, his longtimegirlfriend turned fiancée was cheerleading for the team.

The Indiana Pacers’ star was recently spotted rooting for the Iowa State Cyclones. He was also seen posing with the Hawkeye cheerleaders. Tyrese Haliburton recently shared a story on Instagram after the Iowa State Cyclone’s sweeping victory against the Hawkeye.

Jones captioned the story as “Iowa State W!!!”, to which Haliburton replied “Greatest Cyclone ever some say. Streets saying we gotta retire the poms.”

The NBA star’s reaction clearly spoke volumes about the Cyclones’ terrific performance. Reportedly, Haliburton had predicted the outcome of the game between the Cyclones and Hawkeye ahead of the face-off. With Kyle Konrady in full swing, the Cyclones gradually dominated the Hawkeyes during the match with an overall score of 16-13. Tyrese Haliburton is making the most of his time away from the basketball court. He is not only recovering from his torn Achilles but also went down on his knees while proposing to his longtime girlfriend, Jade Jones.
