 Check steps to download scorecard

UCEED result 2026: The Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) 2026 result will be declared today, March 6, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the examination will be able to check their results on the official website, www.uceed.iitb.ac.in.The examination was conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay on January 18, 2026, from 9 am to 12 noon. The exam included two parts: Part A, which was computer-based, and Part B, which was conducted in pen-and-paper mode.

How to check UCEED result 2026

Candidates can follow the steps below to view their results once they are released:

  1. Visit the official website: www.uceed.iitb.ac.in
  2. Click on the link for UCEED Result 2026 on the homepage.
  3. Enter the user login ID and password created during registration.
  4. Submit the details to view the result.
  5. Download and save the result for future reference.

UCEED 2026 scorecard details

All candidates who appeared for the examination will be able to download their scorecards from March 10, 2026 to July 31, 2026 from the official website.

It is important to note that hard copies of the scorecard will not be issued. The scorecards will not be sent to candidates by post or email, so applicants must download the digital copy themselves from the website.Digital copies of the scorecards will be maintained at the UCEED office for up to five years from the date of issue.

Rank list and qualification

All candidates who are shortlisted will receive a Common Merit Rank or All India Rank (AIR).

Candidates who receive a rank are considered qualified in UCEED 2026.However, receiving a rank does not guarantee admission to the Bachelor of Design (BDes) programme.The rank list will be prepared based on the total marks obtained in Part A and Part B combined.

Tie-breaking rules for ranks

If two or more candidates score the same total marks, the following rules will be used to decide the rank:

  • The candidate with higher marks in Part B will be given a higher rank.
  • If the tie still remains, the candidate with higher marks in Section 2 of Part A will be ranked higher.
  • If the tie continues, higher marks in Section 1 of Part A will be considered.
  • If the tie still cannot be resolved, both candidates will be given the same rank.

Important: Candidates can download their Part A response sheets only until the declaration of the results. Once the results are announced, the option to download Part A responses will be disabled, and no further requests will be accepted.Candidates are advised to keep their login credentials ready and regularly check the official website for the release of the UCEED 2026 results.
