Unidentified man’s body found in Samarlakota irrigation canal

The body of an unidentified man, aged around 40, was found in the Samarlakota irrigation canal near Kotipalli railway bridge under Indrapalem police limits in Kakinada district, on Friday. On being alerted by the locals, the police rushed to the spot.

According to an official release issued by Kakinada Superintendent of Police (SP) G. Bindu Madhav, the man might have died a few weeks ago, and his identity could not be established. Those who want to claim the body can contact the Indrapalem police. The police registered a case and the investigation is on.
