Unidentified woman’s body found in bag near Bachupally construction site; murder suspected

The body of an unidentified woman was found in a bag at a construction site near Vijaya Durga Owners Association Colony in Bachupally.

The incident came to light following a complaint by the locals, who were alerted by the foul smell emanating from a trolley bag that had been abandoned at the construction area next to the wall of Reddy’s Lab. Upon reaching the spot, the police discovered the body of a woman, estimated to be between 25 and 35 years of age. She was found dressed in a maroon suit.

Balanagar DCP K. Suresh Kumar said that initial investigation points towards a murder by strangulation. A special investigation team has been assembled to probe the case further.
