The US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) shared a video on social media, with an “up close and personal" look at a deportation flight departing from Indiana.
The footage shows detained individuals in handcuffs and leg restraints being escorted out of vehicles by ICE officers before boarding the aircraft via staircases.
“Have you ever seen a deportation flight up close and personal?" ICE captioned the video. “This one lifted off from Gary, Ind., carrying dozens of aliens with one-way tickets out of the United States," the agency wrote in an X post.

The video also showed the interior view of the plane, where deportees are seen seated under the watch of accompanying ICE personnel.
An officer featured in the video commented that similar deportation scenes are taking place across the country, underscoring the agency’s ongoing enforcement efforts.
The video received significant attention on social media, with some users praising ICE’s work, while others criticised the content as “inhuman" and raised concerns about the treatment and public display of the deportees.
US President Donald Trump’s tough approach to illegal immigration has led to widespread deportations across the country.
He has blamed the former Biden administration for implementing policies that, according to him, enabled thousands of immigrants to enter the country unlawfully.
ICE, established in 2003 under the Department of Homeland Security, was formed through the consolidation of components from the former US Customs Service and the Immigration and Naturalisation Service.
The agency currently employs over 20,000 personnel across 400 offices nationwide and operates with an annual budget of nearly $8 billion.
Its operations are structured under three primary directorates: Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), and the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor (OPLA), with additional support from the Management and Administration (M&A) division.
Further responses to the video continue to surface as debate over deportation practices and immigration enforcement intensifies across the country.
