- Register yourself on the portal, if not already registered.
- Fill in the application form with the required details and upload the necessary documents.
- Pay the application fee through the available online or offline payment options.
- Submit the application form and download a copy for future reference.

UPSC recruitment 2025: Selection process
The minimum qualifying marks in interviews are fixed category-wise:
- Unreserved/Economically Weaker Section (UR/EWS) – 50 marks
- Other Backward Class (OBC) – 45 marks
- Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Persons with Benchmark Disability (SC/ST/PwBD) – 40 marks
These criteria will apply whether the selection is made only through interview or through a recruitment test followed by interview.
UPSC recruitment 2025: Application fee
Candidates applying for the recruitment must pay the prescribed application fee as per their category.
- Candidates are required to pay ₹25 either through cash payment at any branch of the State Bank of India (SBI), net banking facility, or via Visa/Master/Rupay credit/debit card/UPI.
- Exempted Categories: No fee is applicable for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD), and all women candidates.
- Male candidates from General, Other Backward Class (OBC), and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) categories must pay the full fee, as fee exemption does not apply to them.
