Vaibhav Kumar is deputy registrar for Gzb, Noida

Ghaziabad: A fresh appointment has been made to oversee societies, chits, and funds in Ghaziabad and Gautam Budh Nagar, with Vaibhav Kumar set to take charge as deputy registrar. Currently posted as senior treasurer in Firozabad, Kumar will succeed Rishabh Aggarwal in the role.Aggarwal was the first deputy registrar appointed separately for Ghaziabad and Gautam Budh Nagar in June 2024. Until then, both districts were under the jurisdiction of the Meerut deputy registrar.The deputy registrar’s office is responsible for registering Residents’ Welfare Associations (RWAs) and Apartment Owners’ Associations (AOAs), holding elections, and intervening in disputes related to their functioning.

Ghaziabad has over 300 AOAs and 800 RWAs, while Gautam Budh Nagar has about 280 AOAs and more than 700 RWAs.The Ghaziabad office is located at Plot Khasra No.-119, Guldhar, Rajnagar Extension, and the GB Nagar office functions from the DM Office in Surajpur.When contacted, Kumar told TOI, “I have received the transfer order and will join at Ghaziabad on Friday morning.”Meanwhile, Aggarwal has now been deputed as the seniosr finance and accounts officer, Basic Education Council, Prayagraj.
