He was only 22 years old when he won his second NBA championship, and he proved to the world that he clearly belonged on the basketball court. He went on to average 29.4 points, with 6.1 assists and 7.3 rebounds, while dominating the New Jersey Nets during the NBA Finals in 2002.
At the age of 22, Kobe Bryant went on to become one of the most dominant forces on the Los Angeles Lakers team.

Back in 2021, Vanessa Bryant poured her heart out while talking about Kobe Bryant’s sudden demise. During an interview with the People, she spoke about navigating grief and pain that came along with the absence of her husband. She said,“This pain is unimaginable, [but] you just have to get up and push forward. Lying in bed crying isn’t going to change the fact that my family will never be the same again.
But getting out of bed and pushing forward is going to make the day better for my girls and for me. So that’s what I do.”Kobe Bryant and his little daughter Gianna tragically died in the chopper crash along with others on January 26, 2020.
