He warned that strict action would be taken in cases of negligence. The health department was instructed to inform the waterworks department about areas with water accumulation for prompt resolution.
Additionally, the chief medical officer was directed to form a task force with a nodal officer regularly surveying waterlogging and reporting to the department. The DM said dengue case mapping should be carried out. He emphasised that all departmental responsibilities must be fully complied with, without laxity or negligence. Intensive activities, including fogging, spraying, screening camps, and awareness drives, should be conducted in previously identified hotspot areas.
Regular fogging should be carried out in every village and ward, ensuring no waterlogging occurs. The campaign should be fully monitored and reported on time.Chief medical officer Dr Sandeep Chaudhary said that alongside the special communicable disease control campaign, the Dastak campaign will also run, in which health workers will visit homes to prepare lists of patients with fever, influenza-like illness (ILI), TB, leprosy, filariasis, kala-azar, malnourished children, and other non-communicable diseases such as diabetes and hypertension.
