Vedanta to sell 1.6% in Hind Zinc for Rs 3k crore

MUMBAI: Vedanta Ltd, the promoters of Hindustan Zinc, has mandated brokers to sell about 1.6% stake in the company through block deals on Wednesday, aiming to mobilise about Rs 3,018 crore, sources said.

Currently Vedanta holds 63.4% in the company. Meanwhile, HZL will invest nearly Rs 12,000 crore in Rajasthan. TNN
