Vicky Kaushal feels he is living a dream. The Chhaava actor, who recently completed a decade in the Hindi film industry, reflected on his journey, and opened up about his next 10-year plan — which is not to “consciously think about it”.

“With the way the last 10 years have gone, I have now consciously stopped thinking about it. I wouldn’t have ever been able to be so gutsy to think that these 10 years have shaped like this. With the way things started and my journey started, back in time, I never had the guts to think that I would be working with these directors, I would be working in these kinds of stories, I would be getting these kinds of work…”

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, the 36-year-old added: “So, I don’t want to limit what the universe has planned for me. Because I know it has planned great things for me.”

In recent years, the concept of manifestation has gained pertinent traction in the self-help and wellness sphere. But what exactly is it?

Soma Chatterjee, internationally certified Reiki master teacher and founder of Inner Wisdom Light, concurred and said that there are infinite possibilities we can create. “We are the only ones that come in the way of the potential within us. We limit our belief, lower our standards, and get too influenced by what’s happening around us,” said Chatterjee.

Simply put, it is about self6-awareness and rewiring your body to accept new feelings and break out of old habits. It involves recognising and appreciating the positive aspects of your life, fostering a sense of gratitude. “By focusing on what you want rather than what you fear, you can reduce feelings of anxiety. This shift in focus can lead to a more balanced emotional state,” said Nakshi S, founder, Inha Wellness.

According to Chatterjee, if we take time to breathe, become present within ourselves, and “simply listen to the intelligence within, then anything is possible”. “A good start is to create a positive dialogue with ourselves and place a demand in the universe of everything that we deserve. This will raise our vibrations. We are all energy bodies, the universe reads our vibrations and helps us manifest the things that we truly think we deserve,” said Chatterjee.

Nakshi said that this is where practices like manifestation play a role.

“Manifestation is not a magic wand, it means your words, thoughts, emotions, and actions should 90-95 per cent align with what you want and the manifestations you’re putting out. It has a certain level of awareness and a quantum energy you need to be able to tap into. Doing so involves your actions speaking to the universe which screams loud enough that you’re ready for what you’re asking for,” said Nakshi.
