Video: Mumbai monorail breaks down amid heavy rain; passengers stuck for an hour

The Mumbai Monorail service between Chembur and Bhakti Park came to a halt at around 6.15 pm on Tuesday. Passengers immediately contacted the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s helpline number 1916 for emergency assistance. Taking swift action, the Mumbai Fire Brigade rushed to the scene and initiated rescue operations with the help of three snorkel vehicles. The rescue operations are still on.
