Reports and videos depicted what appeared to be an Iranian cluster missile over Israel, with RT.com providing visuals of the strike. The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said nearly half of the 300 ballistic missiles launched by Iran toward Israel carried cluster bomb warheads. US–Israel–Iran War LIVE
According to the IDF, most of the missiles fired on Tuesday were intercepted. However, one missile carrying a large warhead exploded in an open area outside Beit Shemesh, near Jerusalem. No injuries were reported in that incident.

The missile launches come after the US and Israel initiated a bombing campaign against Iran. In response, Iran has fired hundreds of missiles and drones across the region, including toward Israeli territory. Iranian strikes in Israel have killed 12 people and injured more than 2,000, according to Israeli health authorities.

Meanwhile, the IDF said it conducted another wave of airstrikes in Lebanon targeting assets and storage facilities linked to Hezbollah-affiliated Al-Quard Al-Hassan Association, which it described as being used to finance weapons purchases and militant salaries. The IDF also announced the elimination of Hassan Salameh, commander of Hezbollah’s ‘Nassar’ unit, in a precise Israeli Air Force strike in the Jwaya area.

In addition, Israeli forces carried out combined strikes in Tehran and Tabriz. The IDF said targets included a special unit’s command centre in Tabriz, the “Imam Hassan" security unit compound in Tehran, a ballistic missile and artillery command centre, an intelligence and general security police facility in Maragheh Province, and a large Basij forces compound in Tabriz.
The conflict has expanded beyond Iran, with retaliatory missile and drone strikes reportedly targeting US military bases, embassies, and energy infrastructure in Gulf nations including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Jordan. The escalation has disrupted global energy flows, particularly around the Strait of Hormuz, through which about 20 per cent of the world’s oil supply passes.
