Vijay appoints former minister Ku Pa Krishnan as chairman of Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board

CHENNAI: Chief minister C Joseph Vijay on Friday appointed Ku Pa Krishnan as chairman of the Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board (TNUHDB).The chairman post had remained vacant, and the chief minister issued orders appointing Krishnan to head the board for implementing its various welfare schemes and housing initiatives.TNUHDB undertakes housing and resettlement projects for the urban poor across the state. Krishnan, a former AIADMK minister, had contested as a TVK‌ candidate in Lalgudi in the last assembly election and lost to AIADMK's Leema Rose Martin.
