VinFast expands in India with 24 dealerships now operational: Cities, details

VinFast Auto India has accelerated its retail expansion, announcing that 24 dealerships are now up and running across major Indian cities. The milestone marks a major step toward the Vietnamese EV maker’s goal of establishing 35 outlets nationwide by the end of 2025, as part of its strategy to bring a premium electric mobility experience closer to Indian consumers.With the opening of these showrooms, customers can now experience the brand’s newly launched electric SUVs (the VF6 and VF7) in person. The dealerships are located in key markets including Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Surat, Pune, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Nagpur, Agra, Ludhiana, Jaipur, Kochi, Bhubaneswar, Baroda, and Rajkot.

At the core of VinFast’s India strategy lies its advanced manufacturing facility in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu.

Spread across 400 acres, the plant will assemble the VF6 and VF7 in its first phase, with an initial production capacity of 50,000 units annually: scalable up to 150,000 units in the future.VinFast recently launched the VF6 and VF7 SUVs for the Indian market, priced from Rs 16.49 lakh and Rs 20.89 lakh, ex-showroom, respectively. The VF6 is available in Earth, Wind, and Wind Infinity variants, while the VF7 comes in five trims, topping out at Rs 25.49 lakh for the Sky Infinity variant. The VF6 draws power from a 59.6kWh battery producing 204 hp and offering a range of up to 480 km, while the more powerful VF7 uses a 70.8 kWh battery, delivering up to 350 hp and 500 Nm of torque in its AWD version.
