Brazilian forward Vinicius Junior put the Selecao ahead in their final Group C fixture against Scotland in the FIFA World Cup 2026 on Thursday at the Miami Stadium in USA to join an illustrious list of names in the storied history of the Canarinho.
Vini became the first Brazilian player to score in all three men’s World Cup group games since Rivaldo and Ronaldo in 2002, as he joined an elite list that also includes the legendary Romario and Jairzinho.
