While passports of different countries always enamour people, imagine how excited they would be to see a passport that was about a 100 years old? A lot it seems!Recently, a video went viral on Instagram, sharing a rare British Indian passport from 1926. The vintage passport was completely different from the ones we see today and rightly had the viewers in awe.

Belonging to a man named Mr. Atma Singh Basant Singh the passport was issued to the owner in Bombay on November 23rd, 1926. It featured the man's personal details, including his birthplace and the destinations he had travelled to. It also described the holder as a "British-protected person" reflecting India's colonial status at the time.

The pages of the passport, over the years, had turned yellow and included passport regulations on the last page.

The video has gained nearly 2 million views on the social media app with people being stunned to see a passport so old in time.

People in the comments couldn't help but be shocked and in awe of the rare passport.
