Vishnu Vishal opens up on lack of recognition
Speaking at the press meet, Vishnu Vishal revealed his biggest regret, "I have a slight regret that my work is not being recognized as it deserves. I have a habit of encouraging young actors. If a good film comes out, I will appreciate it. But I didn't get that kind of encouragement.
When a film is released, they usually just meet the director and look at the scripts," he said. Thus, he expressed his passion for his work.
‘Aaryan’ highlights Selvaraghavan’s role
Explaining the importance of the film 'Aaryan', Vishnu Vishal said, “Actually, the character played by Selvaraghavan sir is the main pillar of the film, like the heroine’s role in ‘Gatta Kusthi’. I know that Dhanush sir, standing today, is the result of your (Selvaraghavan) efforts. I have the utmost respect for him," he said.
He also said, "We knew very well that we would be compared to 'Ratsasan'. It was a cult film. After that, many films referenced 'Ratsasan'. No one has surpassed that. But we wanted to give a new experience along with that," he shared.
Vishnu Vishal shares Aamir Khan’s love for Rajinikanth in ‘Coolie’
Vishnu Vishal has also opened up on a recent report about Aamir Khan expressing his regret on 'Coolie'. He clarified this in a press release and said Aamir Khan has not had any negative interviews regarding his salary. Aamir Khan said that he acted in 'Coolie' entirely out of love for Rajinikanth sir. He himself said that he was happy with that scene,” he concluded the program.
