‘Vision 2031’ education seminar next week

The General Education department will organise a seminar to prepare a comprehensive plan for school education in 2031 when the State celebrates the 75th anniversary of its formation.

The seminar ‘Vision 2031’ will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan at Tagore Theatre at 10 a.m. on October 13. Minister for General Education V. Sivankutty will preside.

Vision 2031 is a continuation of the projects initiated by the Left Democratic Front government over the past nine years, a statement from the Minister’s office on Tuesday (October 7) said. It aims at ensuring quality education for the next generation.

The opinions of education experts, teachers, student representatives, and the public will be compiled into a policy documents on education for the future, the statement said.
