Wanted criminal nabbed

Prayagraj: A joint team of Pratapgarh and Maharashtra police on Tuesday arrested a criminal wanted by the Maharashtra crime detection branch in a murder case.The accused, Akash Gupta, native of Mahimamau, Pratapgarh, was in the wanted list of Mira Bhayandar, Vasai, Virar police, Maharashtra, in connection with the murder of a man at Nalasopara east, Palghar district on Apr 19.With the help of evidences and electronic surveillance, cops came to know that accused was in Pratapgarh.After the arrest, Jethwara police, Pratapgarh handed over the accused to the Maharastra police.
