This morning’s light rain in Uttar Pradesh's Noida once again exposed the tall claims made by the Noida Authority. After the rainfall, a road near one of Noida’s posh sectors — Sector-100 — caved in, forming a massive crater in the middle of the road. The incident raises serious questions about the authority’s monsoon preparedness.
While the morning showers brought some relief from the humid heat, they also caused waterlogging and traffic congestion, creating inconvenience for commuters. The most shocking scene came from near Pathways School in Sector-100, where a service road suddenly collapsed, creating a crater approximately 12 feet wide and 15 feet deep.
