Picking up the same from the stump mic, the match commentator also expressed his surprise at how respectful the India vice-captain's apology sounded. Despite his animated mannerisms on the crease and aggressive gameplay, Pant has steadily been racking up the runs alongside KL Rahul.
At Lunch on Day 4, the duo have already amassed a 61-run partnership from 140 balls. As the day progresses, fans can expect even more of the mind games, stump mic chatter and lively moments on display between India and England.
