West Bengal Voter List 2025: If you live in West Bengal and plan to vote in the 2026 West Bengal Assembly Elections, here’s an important reminder — the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls has already begun. This means it’s time to check whether your name or the names of your parents and relatives is on the electoral roll of the 2002 SIR.

The Election Commission of India (ECI) kicked off the SIR process across the state this week. Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are going door-to-door to distribute voter enumeration forms and verify details. The Voter lists of 2002 have been uploaded on the website of the Chief Electoral Officer, West Bengal.

The Election Commission of India (ECI), through the West Bengal CEO, has launched the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 to ensure every eligible citizen’s details are correct before the state goes to polls next year.

During this process, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will visit homes across the state to distribute and collect voter enumeration forms, verify addresses, and guide citizens through the registration process.

The Booth Level Officer (BLO) will update your voter information. Here’s what to expect:

* The officer will visit your house between 4 November and 4 December 2025.
* They will provide you with prefilled voter enumeration forms in two copies.
* They will also guide you through the form-filling process.
* And, they will then collect the completed forms and hand you an acknowledgement receipt.

  • Fill both copies of the enumeration form.
  • Paste your latest passport-size photograph.
  • Contact your BLO for any help with the form or online upload.
  • Return the filled form to the BLO and collect the receipt.
