West Godavari secures top spot in offering services at government hospitals in State

District Collector Ch. Nagarani on Friday (September 05, 2025) said that West Godavari district secured the top position in offering services at government hospitals in Andhra Pradesh.

Referring to a survey conducted by the Department of Health, Ms. Nagarani said that the infrastructure facilities and timely monitoring of the services being offered at the government hospitals guaranteed better medical services to the needy.

The infrastructure facilities in Tanuku district hospital, mother milk centre in Bhimavaram government hospital and stringent action against the staff for failing to discharge their duties contributed to the district emerging as the best district in offering government services, said Ms. Nagarani.
