Tucker Kraft hurt his left knee in practice on Thursday, September 18, 2025, in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The tight end was added to the Packers’ injury list as a limited participant. His status for Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns is now in doubt.
Early reports say the injury is not season-ending. Still, the Packers are waiting for test results. Head coach Matt LaFleur told reporters the team hopes it is a short-term problem.
Tucker Kraft leaves Thursday practice with left knee injury
The injury happened during drills on Thursday at the Packers’ training field. Tucker Kraft stepped away after hurting his left knee. Trainers looked at him, and he later took part in only light work. By the evening, he was officially listed as “limited” on the team’s injury report.
NFL reporter Ian Rapoport said Kraft will have tests to learn how serious the injury is. The early belief is that it is not a major problem. Coach Matt LaFleur said, “We’re hopeful it’s nothing serious. He will get it fully evaluated.”The Packers’ injury list stayed almost the same as Wednesday. Jayden Reed missed practice with a collarbone injury. Aaron Banks (groin), Nate Hobbs (knee), Josh Jacobs (ankle), Bo Melton (shoulder), and Zach Tom (oblique) all joined limited practice for the second day in a row.
Tucker Kraft’s strong start to the season may be at risk
Tucker Kraft has been one of Green Bay’s best players in the first two weeks. He has made eight catches for 140 yards and two touchdowns this season.
