What really happened between KSI and Mams Taylor after Andrew Tate took over Misfits Boxing? Here’s everything to know (Image via Getty)
KSI and Mams Taylor have been trending after major changes in their boxing business. KSI co-founded Misfits Boxing with Mams Taylor, who worked as its president. But in late October 2025, KSI was removed as CEO, and Andrew Tate was announced as the new chief.
The decision surprised fans and caused drama online. Here’s a simple look at what really happened between KSI and Mams Taylor.
Why KSI lost his Misfits Boxing CEO role
In October 2025, Misfits Boxing confirmed that KSI was no longer the CEO. Mams Taylor said that KSI’s long breaks and delays were hurting the brand’s image. He mentioned that their partnership didn’t feel equal anymore because KSI wasn’t taking part in big event plans or meetings. Mams explained that the company needed someone more active to move things forward.
Misfits Boxing then decided to bring in a new leader to freshen up the brand and keep fans engaged.
Andrew Tate joins Misfits Boxing with Mams Taylor
Andrew Tate, the former kickboxing world champion, took over as the new CEO. He announced his new role on social media, calling himself the “Combat Executive Officer.” Tate said he wanted to help Misfits Boxing grow and promised to bring a new wave of energy to the events.
He also shared that he will make his boxing debut under Misfits Boxing against Chase De Moor in Dubai on December 20, 2025.
Mams Taylor supported Tate’s entry, saying it would help attract more attention and bring in a wider audience for Misfits fights.
KSI reacts to Mams Taylor’s decision
KSI was not happy about the move. He posted on social media calling Andrew Tate’s appointment “the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen.” He also expressed anger toward Mams Taylor, saying, “Bro’s been focused on Misfits rather than managing me.” KSI’s fans quickly joined the conversation online. Some supported KSI, while others felt it was just a business change. Even though the two had heated words online, there’s no proof of a personal fight between them. The situation seems mostly about business differences and control over Misfits Boxing.
What’s next for KSI and Mams Taylor
The leadership change came right before Misfits Boxing’s next big card in Dubai. Andrew Tate will headline the December 20 event, which Mams Taylor says will be “the biggest Misfits fight night ever.” Meanwhile, KSI is still recovering from his injuries and has not confirmed his next fight.
