A video clip showing Giorgia Meloni making seemingly involuntary and exaggerated facial movements while speaking to reporters has gone viral, sparking a meme fest across social media platforms. The clip, widely shared on X (formerly Twitter), shows her blinking rapidly and contorting her face mid-sentence, prompting users to speculate about her behaviour.

One user asked, “What’s going on with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni?" while another wrote, “Is Giorgia Meloni okay?"

“How do you explain Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s facial expressions here?" read a third comment while others joined in with quips like “Too much caffeine?" and “She had a flashback of Macron whispering in her ear." One user even joked, “Some powerful cocaine."

Giorgia Meloni’s Eye Roll Moment With Macron

This isn’t the first time Giorgia Meloni has gone viral for her visible reactions. Earlier, during a G7 roundtable in Alberta, Canada, a moment between Giorgia Meloni and French President Emmanuel Macron caught the internet’s attention. As Emmanuel Macron leaned in to whisper something to her- while shielding his mouth- Giorgia Meloni reacted with a dramatic eye roll and quick lean back.

The clip was widely circulated and dubbed the “eye roll of the century" by social media users. One user wrote, “Giorgia Meloni ROLLS HER EYES at France’s President Emmanuel Macron. The G7 is off to such a good start" while another added, “Meloni is awesome, she can’t hide her disdain for the globalist elite."
