Karan asked Ajay to name his former "sworn enemy" in the industry. Ajay said, “Once upon a time, it was you.” Karan acknowledged that Ajay had shown great generosity by moving beyond the past. “Whatever the altercation was, and it was misunderstanding, misconception, we didn’t speak, Kajol and I didn’t speak. I’m sure he must have had a troubled time with his own wife because we are such close friends, but he really was very gracious,” Karan stated.
He also added that Ajay had agreed to meet him when they were together in the same studio. Karan revealed that Ajay promptly suggested they avoid dwelling on the past and simply move forward. “He said, ‘let’s not talk about anything. You are close to Kajol. We are one industry and we should…’ And it took a minute for us to go back to normalcy,” Karan said. Ajay added that there is no point in fighting each other over who is right or wrong in this short life.Kajol starrer MaaOn the work front, Ajay Devgn was last seen in Raid 2. He is gearing up for the release of his next production venture Maa, featuring his wife, actress Kajol, in the lead role. It will hit theatres on June 27.
