When Salman Khan gifted Kiccha Sudeep his favourite jacket; ‘Never thought I would part with it - THROWBACK

As Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep turned 52 on the last day, let's revisit a memorable moment where he shared a warm friendship with Bollywood’s Salman Khan. Kiccha and Salman's friendship blossomed during the making of 'Dabangg 3'.

Apart from the movie turning out to be a blockbuster, what stood out most was the thoughtful gesture Salman Khan made after the film’s shoot.

The jacket with a memory

Salman Khan and Kiccha Sudeep faced off on-screen in the action flick 'Dabangg 3', back in the year 2019. While the movie portrayed them as fierce rivals, off-camera their camaraderie grew stronger. At the wrap-up, Salman gifted Sudeep something extremely personal — his favourite jacket, adorned with the picture of his beloved pet dog.

Sudeep shared his emotions in a heartfelt post at the time, writing: “A line SK sir said when he put this jacket on to me. ‘I never thought I would ever part with this jacket.’ He got his fav pets pic painted on this jacket in its memory. I know what it means to part with something that's deeply connected. Thank u for this luv sir.”

Salman Khan's next surprise

The jacket wasn’t the only token of friendship. Just days later, Sudeep revealed that Salman had surprised him with a luxury car — a BMW M5, valued then at around Rs 1.7 crore.

Sharing pictures on Instagram, he expressed his gratitude: “Good always happens when u do good. @beingsalmankhan sir made me believe this line further when this surprise landed at home along with him.” The gesture left fans in awe of the bond the two actors shared.

Sudeep’s recent outing - 'Max'

With stunning performances and magnificent screen presence, the 'Eega' star Kiccha Sudeep has continued to shine in Kannada cinema. He was last seen in 'Max' which is an action thriller directed by Vijay Karthikeyaa. The movie was released theatrically on December 25, 2024.
