The two initially met in 2016, when filming for the first ‘Spider-Man’ began. Fast forward to 2017, and the two had already shared a lot of adorable moments during interviews and promotional events. In an interview with KISS BREAKFAST, Tom Holland even talked about how the two are now “best friends,” all the while calling Zendaya “the golden child” who can do no wrong in a hilarious moment.

He even shared a funny anecdote where he talked about how he copied one of Zendaya’s posts to take a dig at her; however, it all ended up backfiring when her “40 million” fan base came after him. He shared that, “The thing with her is her Twitter, so she sent out a tweet; she had a picture of her, like, on the red carpet, being like ‘stealing hearts since 96.’ I did the same picture saying, ‘Stealing hearts since never.’”
