The Windrose demo version is now available to the players, and many of them are keen to know about the Gunpowder and how to get access to it. Much like other available items in the game, Gunpowder is an item that can be used both in firearms and muskets.
It plays a pivotal role in the combat system, as without getting access to it, players can’t use firearms.Players can craft and loot the item, but there is a small catch, which will be discussed further in the article. Speaking of which, this article aims to outline all the essential aspects regarding access to gunpowder in Windrose.
How to obtain gunpowder in Windrose
⚓ Windrose DEMO Co-Op – Ship Repairs & the Gunpowder Crisis 🏴☠️💣
Players can find Gunpowder in Windrose by killing the enemy pirates and looting their camps.
But these camps respawn on a daily basis, so it's worth keeping an eye on them. If luck favors, then players will find the Gunpowder inside the supply boxes present around the camp. Each box contains 2-3 items which can be collected and used for future runs. However, after the full game releases, the gunpowder item can be crafted instead of relying on looting. But as of now the developers have only considered looting as a viable option, that is players are only constrained to looting enemy camps. The crafting process is quite simple as it requires only two resources. The name of the two valuable resources is listed below:
- Sulfur: This can be mined while using a pickaxe
- Ash: Players will come across ash along the shoreline while exploring the map.
After obtaining Gunpowder in Windrose
After gathering such items, players need to craft the milestone which is used for refining the resources into the item.
But unfortunately, it is not available in the demo version, so crafting the material isn’t possible yet at the moment. When the feature is available, players can access the milestone from the refining section, and they can implement into refining the resources that they have gathered so far in the game. Having said that, players must focus on their survival which solely depends on looting enemy pirate camps.
