The White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt has removed her husband’s face from recent social media photos almost a month after facing “photoshop fail" accusations.

According to The Mirror US, the 28-year-old had shared sweet snaps from her Sunday, including moments with her 16-month-old son Niko and baking cinnamon rolls. In one post, she wrote, “Coffee + play time in bed," showing the back of her toddler and her husband, Nicholas Riccio, 60, sat in bed with his head cropped out of the frame.

Other photos included Karoline reading the Bible and putting up a Christmas tree, captioned, “And the Christmas tree went up this year…we were feeling it. Tis the season."

The photos were later deleted.

Previously, she had faced backlash over allegedly “airbrushing" images of her husband, Nicholas, who is 32 years her senior.

Commenting on the “airbrushing" of his photos, one of the followers said: “The airbrushing of your hubs face to make him appear younger was the trick."

Another added, “Karoline, Awesome picture but my friends noticed something: The guy on the left seems to have only his face photoshopped. His hands look like 60+ years old. What happened?"

Others questioned the age difference, asking, “Why does her husband look 50 but she only 28 yrs old?" One user commented, “Man that smoothing filter on her old man’s forehead working overtime."

The thread continued with trolls accusing her of editing, including, “Lol you photoshopped your old geezer husband," echoed by another who said, “You can’t hide your grandhusband’s old age with Photoshop girl!"
