Xavier Worthy, wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs, is still amazed that Taylor Swift shouted his name on draft night. The rookie, 22, said on The Pivot podcast on Friday, September 5, 2025, that it feels unreal to know the world’s biggest pop star celebrated his selection.

Swift, 35, told fans last month on the New Heights podcast with Travis and Jason Kelce that she ran through her home yelling, “We drafted Xavier Worthy!” when the Chiefs announced their pick in 2024.
