Tej Pratap Yadav was expelled from RJD for disregard for moral values in personal life, after his picture with Anushka Yadav went viral.

RJD chief Lalu Prasad’s son and former Bihar minister Tej Pratap Yadav landed into a controversy once again, this time relating to his personal life. He was expelled from the party for six years for “disregard for moral values in personal life" over a viral Facebook post from his account claiming that he was in a “relationship for 12 years".

“The one seen in this picture is Anushka Yadav. We have known each other for the last 12 years. We are in love and have been in a relationship for 12 years," the post read.

As the post went viral, he later claimed that his account was “hacked" and his photographs were “edited wrongfully" to defame him and his family.

However, it was too late, as the picture had already gained traction, raising curiosity among users. He was subsequently expelled from the party and the family. “He shall have no role, henceforth, in the party and the family. He is expelled from the party for six years," Lalu said.

Nonetheless, speculations about Tej Pratap’s alleged “partner" ignited curiosity about her details besides her identity.

Who Is Anushka Yadav?

• Anushka Yadav seems to remain low-profile as much details are not available in the public domain, however, an RJD connection has come to the fore.
• According to information available, Anushka Yadav’s family lives in Langartoli, Patna. Her father’s name is Manoj Yadav. Anushka is also said to be the sister of Akash Yadav, the former state president of the RJD’s student wing.
• It was Tej Pratap Yadav himself who had appointed Akash Yadav as the president of the RJD’s student wing. However, RJD’s state president Jagdanand Singh later removed Akash from the position and appointed Gagan Yadav replacing him. Akash Yadav left Tej Pratap’s camp and aligned with Pashupati Paras, a political rival.
