As the identity of the former JPMorgan employee behind the "John Doe" lawsuit is revealed as Chirayu Rana, the accused executive, Lorna Hajdini, has issued a blistering defense

JPMorgan Scandal: Who Is Chirayu Rana, The ‘Little Brown Boy’ Who Alleged Lorna Hajdini Treated Him Like A ‘Sex Slave’?
Wall Street, New York, is reeling as the identity of “John Doe", the man behind a series of explosive sexual harassment allegations at JPMorgan, has reportedly been revealed. Sources have identified the accuser as Chirayu Rana, a 35-year-old high-flyer with an Ivy-adjacent pedigree.
Currently a Principal at investment firm Bregal Sagemount, Rana is responsible for originating and underwriting massive investments across the software, healthcare, and fintech sectors. He pursued a B.S. in Finance from Rutgers Business School. At JPMorgan, he was the former Vice President focusing on sponsor-backed credit. He has also worked at Morgan Stanley Investment Management as a private credit specialist. Early career roles included strategic credit and M&A at The Carlyle Group & Credit Suisse:
However, this polished professional image is now at the center of a scorched-earth legal battle involving allegations of drugs, coercion, and a “millions-of-dollars" payoff attempt.
“Sex Slave" Claims: The Bombshell Lawsuit
In a lawsuit filed under a pseudonym, Rana leveled staggering accusations against Lorna Hajdini, a 37-year-old Executive Director on JPMorgan’s leveraged finance team. The claims, which first surfaced via The Daily Mail, paint a dark picture of abuse of power.
According to the now-retracted court documents, Rana alleged that the coercion began shortly after he joined the team in the spring of 2024. The suit claims Hajdini subjected him to sexual abuse, allegedly drugging him with Rohypnol and Viagra, and threatening to slash his year-end bonus if he did not comply. Rana reportedly described himself in the papers as a “sex slave" and claimed that Hajdini once showed up at his apartment without notice to force him into a sexual encounter.

JPMorgan Hits Back: “No Merit To These Claims"
The banking giant isn’t backing down. While the bank declined to officially confirm the identity of “John Doe," a spokesperson stated that a rigorous internal investigation by HR and in-house counsel found zero evidence to support the claims. The probe, which included a forensic review of team phone records and emails, suggests a very different narrative.
“Following an investigation, we don’t believe there’s any merit to these claims," the NY Post quoted a JPMorgan spokesperson as saying. “While numerous employees cooperated with the investigation, the complainant refused to participate and has declined to provide facts that would be central to support his allegations."
Sources close to the matter told The Post that Rana’s internal complaint—originally filed in May 2025 alleging race- and gender-based harassment—was followed by an attempt to negotiate a payoff totaling “millions" to leave the firm quietly.
When the bank refused to settle and the internal probe came up empty, the bombshell lawsuit followed. With the court documents currently withdrawn for “corrections" and the industry watching closely, the case has become a lightning rod for discussions on corporate accountability versus potential litigation abuse in the upper echelons of finance.
