NEW DELHI: Priya Sachdeva Kapur, widow of the late industrialist Sunjay Kapur, told the Delhi High Court on Wednesday that Karisma Kapoor’s two children had already received Rs 1,900 crore from the family trust and questioned, “What more do they want?”The children had approached the court seeking a share in Sunjay’s Rs 30,000 crore estate and challenged the authenticity of his will, alleging that Priya Kapur had forged it to gain control over the assets.

Ltd. and co-created Rock N Shop, one of India’s early luxury e-commerce platforms.Priya, the third wife of industrialist Sunjay Kapur, is the mother of their six-year-old son, Azarias, and currently manages her late husband’s estate.In 2017, Sunjay married Priya, a former model and entrepreneur.She currently serves as Non-Executive Director and Chairperson of the CSR Committee at Sona Comstar, as well as Director at Aureus Investment Private Limited.Priya has denied allegations of forging Sunjay Kapur’s will to gain exclusive control over his assets.

Represented by Senior Advocate Rajiv Nayar, she maintains that Sunjay’s children are already beneficiaries of the family trust, having received Rs 1,900 crore just days before the suit was filed.Her role in managing the estate has been further complicated by claims from Sunjay Kapur’s mother, Rani Kapur, who alleges that her rights under the family trust have been eroded since Priya’s marriage.Priya continues to assert her entitlement to manage the estate and defend the will’s validity, placing her at the center of the ongoing legal battle.Sunjay Kapur’s death in EnglandThe 53-year-old industrialist and polo patron died suddenly on June 12 in Windsor, England, after collapsing mid-match at the prestigious Guards Polo Club. He reportedly swallowed a bee during the polo match that triggered a fatal heart attack. Sona Comstar, the Gurugram-based auto components giant he chaired, confirmed the death in a formal statement, while the polo club noted he "became unwell" during play at its elite Smith’s Lawn grounds — a venue long associated with Britain’s royal family.In 2003, he married actress Karisma Kapoor. They had two children, Samaira and Kiaan, before a highly publicised divorce in 2016. He had earlier been briefly married to fashion designer Nandita Mahtani.
