Who Is Robin Westman? Minneapolis School Shooter Named After Attack Videos Emerge

Robin Westman went by Robert Westman and his mother was an employee at the school.

The shooter who killed two children and injured at least 17 others has been identified as Robin Westman and police are investigating a series of YouTube videos shared on his account hours before the shooting, according to a report by the New York Post, which cited law enforcement forces.

Minneapolis-based broadcaster KARE11 said citing law enforcement sources Robin Westman earlier went by Robert Westman and mother was an employee at the school and that he changed his name to Robin in 2020, when he was 17.

A separate report by Daily Mail, citing a local US news outlet KTSP, confirmed that the shooter was ID’d as Robin Westman.
