Stuart Smith, known in wrestling as Syko Stu, was badly hurt during a live wrestling event in California. The shocking incident happened on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at a KnokX Pro Wrestling show in Los Angeles.

According to CBS Sports, Raja Jackson, son of UFC legend Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, stormed the ring and attacked Smith. The moment was broadcast live on Kick, leaving fans stunned. Witnesses said Raja Jackson slammed Stuart Smith to the mat and threw more than 20 punches while the wrestler lay motionless. Other wrestlers rushed in, but Smith had already suffered major injuries, including broken facial bones and lost teeth.

He was quickly taken to the hospital.

Reports from CBS Sports confirmed that the attack was not fully scripted. While some of the setup was planned, the repeated punches were not part of the show. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful said that the punches crossed the line of performance wrestling.KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy released a statement soon after the incident. They called the attack “selfish and irresponsible violence,” making it clear they did not support what happened in the ring.

Stuart Smith’s brother, Andrew Smith, gave an update on Facebook. He said Syko Stu is stable but remains in critical care. He thanked fans for their prayers and support and also warned that no official fundraising pages have been created yet.

Fans often saw him crediting wrestling crowds for giving him peace and stability. The wrestling world is now rallying around Syko Stu as he continues to fight through his recovery.
