Late Raju Talikote, real name Rangayana Rajesab Muktamsab Talikote, was born in 1963. He grew up in the town of Talikote and was known by his stage name, Raju Talikote.

Both his parents were stage artists. They ran a drama group called 'Sreeguru Kaskadeswara Nattiya Sangha.' Raju Talikote, who started acting at a young age, had to drop out of school after his parents' demise. And that too, continuing his family's stage tradition, he made a solid name for himself in stage arts excellence.

Raju Talikote made his debut in the film world with 'Hendathi Andre Hendathi.' After that, he impressed the audience by acting in many important Kannada films, including 'Manasare,' 'Pancharangi,' 'Rajadhani,' 'Lifeu Ishtene,' 'Alemari,' 'Maina,' 'Toppiwala,' and 'Punjabi House.'

He participated in 'Bigg Boss Kannada' season 7. He is also known for writing plays for cassette recordings. In particular, the play 'Kaliyuga Kudukka' became a sensation in the 1990s with more than 15,000 performances.

Raju Talikote had two wives in his life. His son Bharat said, "Even though we had two mothers, we all grew up together."
