Paycom Centre in Oklahoma City went deafening with the resounding win by the Oklahoma City Thunder since their only championship trophy in 1979, when the team was known as the Seattle SuperSonics.
Throughout the game, the Oklahoma City Thunder maintained a consistent effort, which ultimately ensured their victory over the Indiana Pacers in the end. The first quarter ended with a 3-point lead for the Thunder, losing it to the Pacers towards the end of the first half with a 1-point trail.
However, the third quarter was the decisive one, where the Thunder team racked up a score of 34 points, dominating the game. Even though the Pacers managed to take a lead in the fourth quarter, the gap was way too broad to be filled, ultimately leading to the game in favor of the Thunder.
Star-Player Shai Gilgeous-Alexander lived up to his name of the NBA MVP, after being the highest scorer of the match today. His skills and dunks landed him with a score of 29 points with 5 rebounds and 12 assists, followed by Jalen Williams scoring 20 points with 4 rebounds and 4 assists and Chet Holmgren scoring 18 points with 8 rebounds and 0 assists.On the part of the Pacers, Benedict Mathurin became the team's highest scorer with 24 points, 13 rebounds and 3 assists.
Pascal Siakam was not left behind much and did put up a fight, racking up a score of 16 points with 4 rebounds and 2 assists.The 2025 NBA Finals were quite unpredictable, with both teams putting up their best effort in claiming the championship trophy. Even though analysts believed that it would be an easy win for the Thunder, the Pacers team did establish a tough challenge in between.
