Bondi teased her unspecified role in the private sector and said she would continue to support the Trump administration after her removal as US attorney general.

Former US Attorney General Pam Bondi thanked President Donald Trump in her first remarks after being fired from her position, saying she would transition to an unspecified role in the private sector and continue to support the Trump administration.
“Over the next month, I will be working tirelessly to transition the office of Attorney General to the amazing Todd Blanche before moving to an important private sector role I am thrilled about, and where I will continue fighting for President Trump and this Administration," Bondi, 60, wrote on X.
She said leading Trump’s “historic and highly successful efforts" to make America safer had been the “honour of a lifetime", while calling it the most consequential first year of the US Justice Department in American history.

“Since February 2025, we have secured the lowest murder rate in 125 years, secured first-ever terrorism convictions against members of Antifa, shattered domestic and transnational gangs across the country, taken custody of more than 90 key cartel figures, and won 24 favourable rulings at the Supreme Court. I remain eternally grateful for the trust that President Trump placed in me to Make America Safe Again," Bondi further said.
What Did Trump Say On Bondi’s Firing?
Trump fired Bondi on Thursday after her handling of files related to accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein came under widespread criticism, making her the second Cabinet official to be removed in his second term.
“Pam Bondi is a Great American Patriot and a loyal friend, who faithfully served as my Attorney General over the past year. Pam did a tremendous job overseeing a massive crackdown in Crime across our Country, with Murders plummeting to their lowest level since 1900," he said on Truth Social platform.

He said Bondi will be transitioning to a “much-needed and important new job in the private sector" and that Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, a former Trump lawyer, will serve in her position temporarily.
Bondi’s exit has been long speculated, as she received widespread criticism from both sides, with Democrats threatening to impeach her and some Republicans calling for her removal from office after her handling of the files related to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. ondi claimed she had a list of Epstein’s clients on her desk, but months later, she claimed there was no client list and announced that no further material would be released.
