Woman, her son found dead in Bagalkot

A woman and her son were found dead in Kerur town of Bagalkot district on Thursday.

Their neighbours notified the police after the bodies of 21-year-old Fatima Mastan Saab and her three-year-old son Abdulla were found near their house.

Fatima’s father has complained to the police that his daughter ended her life and that of her child due to unending torture and violent assault from her husband Mastan Saab.

Fatima was Mastan Saab’s second wife. The couple fought regularly, the complaint said.

A case has been registered.
